Installing the new version of the Roman Tub Diverter

This diverter replaces these 2 older versions:

1) Remove the old diverter and clean out the valve of any mineral
    build up or debris.

You will notice the new diverter is slightly longer than the originals:

However, you will also notice that the top of the diverter is slightly thinner:

This is to allow the spout adapter to slip over it:

Once, you have the adapter firmly in place you can place the diverter into the valve:

Make sure you screw in the piece firmly.

You should be ready to test the newly placed diverter, turn on the water and check
For leaking, if all is ok test your side spray.

Differences from the new to old models:
The adapters would not fit over the old diverters-

You would need to place the diverter in the valve body prior :

Then you would tighten the adapter on:
