How to adjust the linkage for a Gerber Tub Drain?

Gerber Trip lever drains have pre-adjustable linkage. This allows the plumber to set up the linkage for fit to the stopper before inserting it into the overflow tube.

Adjusting the Gerber trip lever linkage:

  1. Remove the linkage from the drain pipe.

  2. Notice the threading on the linkage with the 2 supporting bolts:

  3. Lower the linkage bolt and twist the white plastic connector by unscrewing or screwing it depending on the required height.

  4. Re-tighten the 2 bolts to hold in place when the desired height is achieved.
