Gerber TREYSTA™ Valve System - How to use the pressure test cap for air or water pressure testing?

Pressure Test Plug is included with a valve body for easy pressure-testing to 150 PSI (air or water) with either mixed or isolated inlets.

To perform the air or water pressure testing, follow one of the below methods.

1. FOR DUAL INLET TESTING:

a.     Default as shipped. Install with the open end facing in for mixing pressure testing

b.     Ensure the Sleeve, shown below, is secured onto valve body after insert the Pressure Testing Cap prior performing a test.

2. FOR SINGLE INLET TESTING:

a. Install with the open end facing out to plug one inlet and test for cross-flow


NOTE: Plug the hot side will allow to test the cold water pressure from inlet and plug the cold side to test the hot water pressure from inlet.

b.     Slip over the Sleeve to install onto valve body after insert the Pressure Testing Cap prior performing a test.
