How do I remove and clean the stopper and drain cartridge for a Gerber Touch Down drain?

Remove the cartridge (2) from the drain

1. Stopper

2. Cartridge

3. Drain collar

4. Rubber washer

5. Rubber seal

6. Washer

7. Lock nut

1. Push the stopper (1) to a raised position. Unscrew the stopper cap from the cartridge.

2. Using a wrench or pliers, unscrew the cartridge(2) from the drain collar and remove it from the drain.

3. Reinstall cartridge (2) into drain collar, thread on stopper cap.
