Cartridges are either threaded into the faucet body or are held in place by a lock nut.
To remove or replace a cartridge, you will need to unscrew the cartridge from the faucet or remove the lock nut using a pair of pliers or adjustable wrenches. Position the tool on the flat sides of the cartridge or lock nut so the threads will not get damaged.
Please note: Before removing the cartridge, you will need to turn off the water supply to the faucet.
Once the water supply has been turned off, you are ready to begin working on your faucet.
To remove and install a cartridge, you will need to:
1. Turn the water supply off to the faucet
3. Remove the cartridge
4. Install the new cartridge
5. Test for leaks
