For Single Handle Lavatory faucets:
- Pull out the rubber button (part # 1) by hand.
- Use a hex wrench (part #4) to unscrew counter-clockwise to loosen the set screw (part #2).
The hex wrench is 2.5 mm head or 1/8". - Pull out the handle (part #3). If still hard to pull away, loosen the set screw again.
For Two Handle Centerset & Roman Tub faucets:
- Pull out the cap (part #1). Then you can see the set screw.
- Unscrew the handle and the set screw counter-clockwise using Philips or a flat-head screwdriver.
- Pull out the handle.
For Two Handle Mini-Widespread faucets :
- Turn the water off under the sink (hot and cold supply lines).
- Support the handle valve body under the sink. The handle valve body will fall off when the handle is removed.
- Turn the handle ring (part #1) counter-clockwise by hand until the handle can be removed completely. If you are unable to remove the handle ring with your hand, you can put a cloth around the ring and use a pair of pliers or an adjustable wrench to loosen it.
For Showers:
- Pull out the rubber cap (part #1).
- Unscrew the set screw (part #2) using a hex wrench (part #4) counter-clockwise.
The hex wrench is 2.5 mm head or 1/8". - Pull out the handle (part #3).
